The Moroccan Center for Game Theory at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) is seeking applications for two postdoctoral researcher positions in the field of game theory such as such as multi-agents learning, stochastic games, mean-field games, algorithmic game theory, (computational) social choice, industrial organisation and market design. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research and contribute to the development of the center's academic programs.

Responsabilities

  • Teaching Assistance Mentoring/supervising PhD students in the center's doctoral program and support faculty in the PhD courses preparation.
  • Project Collaboration Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects with international professors and researchers, contributing to joint publications.
  • Professional Development Attending/co-organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences in game theory and related fields.
  • Research Conduct innovative research in game theory or related area and collaborate with faculty and researchers within the center to produce high-quality publications.

Qualifications

  • Prior teaching or mentoring experience is desirable but not required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ph.D. related Game Theory in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research or Economics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Demonstrated research experience, evidenced by publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings
