About the Program

The Master 2 in Mathematics and Applications at Paris Dauphine-PSL, specializing in « Game Theory in Mathematics, Economics, and Computation », takes place in Morocco on the campus of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat.

This program is offered as part of an international partnership with the Moroccan Center for Game Theory and is intended for students already enrolled in a Master 1 at Paris Dauphine-PSL. The program aims to provide an in-depth understanding of mathematical models, solution concepts, and algorithms essential for comprehending, modeling, and addressing strategic and competitive challenges in various fields, including economics, computer science, operations research, and social sciences.

Throughout the program, students will develop the following skills:

  • Mastery of advanced theoretical techniques, including probability, statistics, combinatorics, operations research, convex optimization, game theory, and microeconomic theory.
  • Mastery of advanced models and methodologies, particularly in market design, auctions, repeated and stochastic games, mean-field games, algorithmic game theory, computational social choice, or multi-agent learning.
  • Ability to write scientific reports and communicate research findings effectively.

Successful candidates this year will have the opportunity to pursue a fully funded PhD at the Moroccan Center for Game Theory at UM6P, potentially under co-supervision with Paris Dauphine-PSL University.

Students enrolled at Dauphine-PSL are exempt from tuition fees at UM6P. However, they remain responsible for their travel, accommodation, and living expenses. They are eligible for on-campus housing at UM6P and can apply for a living stipend. The cost of on-campus accommodation ranges between 200 and 250 euros per month.

Due to the highly limited number of spots, candidates must have an excellent academic record and a strong motivation to pursue a PhD. Applications must be submitted through our form for admission to Master 2.
